Blume Technologies solves the problem of the high number of accidents occurring at crosswalks without semaphores, which account for 25% of all pedestrian accidents in Romania. By detecting pedestrian behavior, the solution alerts drivers to their presence and which part of the roadway they want to cross. The system also records the crosswalk zone and collects traffic data, which is provided as statistics to public authorities.
