22-23 March: Innovation Labs Hackathon in Iași, Cluj, and Timișoara

On March 22–23, Innovation Labs continued its dynamic journey with simultaneous hackathons in Iași, Cluj, and Timișoara. Dozens of young teams pitched, shaped, pivoted, and refined their ideas—driving innovation forward in Romania and beyond.

Over 30 hours of intense teamwork, pitching, testing, adjusting, and pivoting—young innovators gave their all to build the future! By the end, 49 new teams joined the program: 14 from Cluj, 17 from Iași, and 18 from Timișoara—adding to the 30 already selected earlier in Bucharest.

Now all selected teams will enter the active mentorship stage, where they'll polish their ideas into viable products with guidance from industry and university mentors. It all leads to the public Demo Day on May 26 in Bucharest, where finalists will showcase their progress—and the most promising innovations will be awarded.

Orange Fab continues to encourage, support and, most importantly, enjoy Innovation Labs program! Our colleagues Ana Ciobanu and Cristian Pațachia joined the teams in Cluj, Ioan Constantin was present in Iași, while Alexandru Oprea and Ekaterina Svertoka supported the event in Timișoara.
