Join us at Viva Technology — Europe's biggest startup and tech event, happening on 11-14th of June in Paris!

With over 165 000 participants, 13 500 startups, and 3 200 investors from around the globe, VivaTech offers an incredible opportunity to connect, pitch, and explore future-shaping ideas. The event is recognized as one of the leading in the innovation ecosystem, offering visionaries a platform to showcase their solutions, "charge" from diverse ideas, and acquire valuable contacts — including investors who can identify high potential even at an early stage.

Orange proudly continues its tradition as the main partner of the event, and this year, the Orange Fab team is excited to be present with two of its newest startups: Ogre.ai and .lumen. Notably, .lumen received the Tech for Change recognition and was selected as one of the five finalists for the Tech for Change Award, becoming the first Romanian deeptech startup to achieve this distinction.

About Ogre.ai

Ogre.ai is a platform specialised in energy forecasting and optimization solutions, targeting large and medium-sized companies in the energy sector. This industry faces numerous challenges, such as balancing supply and demand, integrating intermittent renewable energy sources, and increasing grid losses. These challenges are further amplified by the high investments in renewable energy projects, the growing number of prosumers, e-mobility expansion, and the adoption of future decentralized energy networks.

About .lumen

.lumen is the research start-up which builds Pedestrian Autonomous Driving (PAD AI), first showcased in the Glasses for the Blind. Founded by Cornel Amariei, inspired by his family – all of them having disabilities, the Glasses replicate the main features of the Guide Dog, and more, in a scalable product. The same software coordinating the Glasses, called PAD AI, will allow humanoid robotics to navigate pedestrian environments.
