Orange supports the University research spin-off track at Innovation Labs 2020

We're happy to partner, for the seventh consecutive year, with Innovation Labs - the pre-acceleration program dedicated to technical students. We offer teams of students and PhD's all our support in terms of the latest technologies, technical support and business mentoring to create the products of the future.

This year's novelty is the track dedicated to researchers who wish to commercialize the results of proven technical research, a track supported by Orange.

By supporting this new track, we want to offer these researchers the support they need to translate the technological advancement into final products, that are useful and valuable to people.

We will work with them during the Innovation Labs program and after. Our promise is that the best teams, whose products fit into the Orange and Orange Business Services business lines, will be admitted to the Orange Fab program, so that we work together to prepare the commercial launch towards final users." - Cristian Pațachia, Development & Innovation Manager at Orange Romania.

Orange has already worked with several teams that graduated Innovation Labs, most of which continue the collaboration as day-to-day business partners: Siscale, Appsulate, Pentest-Tools, URADMonitor, Fullscreen Digital.

Also, Orange Romania has a prolonged experience working in research projects, through the collaboration in various international consortia in Horizon 2020 research projects like SLICENET, MATILDA, 5G-EVE și 5G-VICTORI.

Registration for the first Innovation Labs program stage, hackathons in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Sibiu and Timisoara, is open on the Innovation Labs website.
