Terms and Conditions
General
Orange Fab is a corporate acceleration program that aims to create partnerships between Orange & innovative startups. Orange Fab is a program ran by the Orange Group in various countries.
Orange Fab is implemented in Romania by Orange Romania S.A. through its ITN department, in close collaboration with all other departments and legal entities.
By submitting the application form, you apply to the Orange Fab program and thus you accept and commit to obeying the following program terms and conditions:
- The information you provide will be visible to Orange Romania employees and relevant program partners.
- By submitting the application form, you commit to participating in the Orange Fab program, should your admission be confirmed unilaterally by Orange Romania.
- Based on the internal Orange Fab program timeline, admission or rejection decisions are reached twice a year – usually in June and November. You will be informed by the Orange Romania Startup Programs Manager of your admission or rejection decision once this has been reached, or of the process step should you inquire about it directly.
- To be considered for the Orange Fab program, you must provide all information on your product, company, and team required via the Application form, and any further information requested by the Startup Programs Manager. Refusal to do so may result in your application being rejected due to lack of necessary information.
- The decision for admission into the program will be taken unilaterally by Orange Romania according to the aforementioned criteria and internal procedures in place. Informative guidelines on interest expressed by Orange Romania for potential collaborations within the Orange Fab framework are also published on www.orangefab.ro.
- Startups that are accepted into the Orange Fab program agree to the following code of conduct:
a. All startups accepted into the Orange Fab program enter a collaboration relationship with Orange Romania and are required to sign an NDA.
b. All external communication involving the Orange brand and Orange Fab program mentions will be previously approved by Orange Romania, through the Startup Programs Manager, who will collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders.
c. During any media, events, or public participations facilitated by Orange Romania, or otherwise involving the Orange brand, you must maintain professional conduct, representing your company as well as the collaboration through the Orange Fab program, with accuracy, decency, and according to previously agreed disclosure of information.
d. Failure to abide by the previous rules can have legal implications and will determine a timely termination of the Orange Fab collaboration and other potentially facilitated discussions or collaborations with Orange departments or Orange and Orange Business Services clients.

- Health & Lifestyle
- People & Future of Work
- Digital Education
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Orange Fab program, startups must match the following eligibility criteria:
- Mature solution (at least Minimum Viable Product level)
- The solution is addressing the Romanian market
- The solution is addressing one of the Orange Fab verticals
- The company is willing to develop the business in collaboration with Orange
Selection Criteria
When choosing the startups for Orange Fab admission, Orange representatives will take into consideration the following selection criteria:
- Innovation degree and market potential
- Collaboration potential with Orange (e.g., serving an internal need, bundling with ORO core offer, potential to develop new Orange products by embedding technology from the startup)
- Team structure and competences
